LAVA's members
are veterinary surgeons involved in a wide range of aspects of laboratory animal medicine
and science. Many members act as Named Veterinary Surgeons under the Animals (Scientific
Procedures) Act, 1986, but others are involved in other aspects of the use of animals in
biomedical research.
